Questions

Are fireworks / helium balloons allowed?

Neither are allowed out of respect to the nearby farms, local community and environment. 

Can I campervan?

Caer Llan do not allow Campervans.

Can I fly my drone?

Caer Llan do allow drones to be used during the wedding for aerial footage. However, they must be manned by a commercial drone pilot.

You must hold indemnity insurance and seek permission from Caer Llan. 

Caer Llan will need to see your licence prior to giving permission.

Can I bring my dog?

Caer Llan allow up to 3 dogs. We have reached our quota with Blue, Tom and Winnie in attendance.

Can I request a song for the evening celebration?

If you would like to request a song for our wedding evening, please do so through the 'Contact us' section. 

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Please ensure you turn your phone to silent from 13.15 on Thursday 9 April.

You may take pictures during the Ceremony. However, we ask that you do not share or post on social media any pictures until we have shared our picture(s).

Confetti

There's no need to bring your own Confetti.

Is Caer Llan accessible?

Most of the ground floor communal areas in the building are wheelchair accessible. 

The accessible toilet is on the ground floor.

Is there a bar at Caer Llan?

Caer Llan is a licenced venue with a very reasonable priced bar. They respectfully request that no alcohol is brought onto the premises by any guest.

The bar accepts cash and card payments. 

 

Caer Llan takes a zero tolerance approach to drug taking, both on and off site. They reserve the right to shut down, without recourse, our wedding where the taking of illegal drugs is either suspected or seen (both on and off site).

By accepting our wedding invite and attending our wedding, 8th-10th April 2026, all guests:

  • agree not to take any illegal drugs both on or off site;
  •  agree to us taking appropriate action against individual(s) in order to recover the full cost of our wedding, should it be shut down due to suspected or actual consumption of illegal drugs by any guest.

What accommodation is available locally?

What do timings look like for the 3 days?

Please book all taxis/minibus in      advance. 

Wednesday 8th April:

  • For those few guests staying on-site, please arrive at Caer Llan for 5pm. 
  • For guests staying off-site, please arrive at Caer Llan between 5.30 - 6pm. 
  • We will be having a welcome buffet paid for by us.

 

Thursday 9th April: 

  • Please arrive at Caer Llan between 12.00 - 12.30. The bar will be open until 13.10. No drinks are allowed during the Ceremony.
  • Wedding Ceremony will commence at 13.30.
  • Wedding Breakfast around 16.00.
  • Cake cutting & first dance at 19.30.
  • Evening buffet will be served around 20.30.
  • Carriages at midnight
  • Please book all taxis in advance.

 

Friday 10th April:

  • If you would like to join us for lunch at The Bush Inn. Please arrive at the pub for 12.30. (Postcode is NP25 4SE) Guests are to cover their own costs. 

Our honeymoon plans

For our honeymoon we are considering spending a week travelling the Caledonian Canal in Scotland.

Taxis

We suggest you book your taxi journeys as soon as possible to get you from / to your chosen accommodation / Caer Llan. 

We have included a number of local taxi numbers on the wedding invite. 

Where can I park at Caer Llan?

Caer Llan parking for residents: Please park cars at the far end of the lower car park.

 

Caer Llan parking for non Residents: Please try and use taxis to get to and from Caer Llan. If you plan on driving to Caer Llan you can park in the car park. Although, you are not permitted to leave your car overnight.
